Obedience

When we take a deep look into all the religions and the churches on a global scale, we see rituals, sacrifices, fasting, prayers, chants, self-abuse and such practices.  We all believe we are going to heaven as we mindlessly obey our spiritual overlords.  We can even compare rituals from one sect to another and find similarities.  We all are right in our own eyes, believing our way is privileged and everyone else is going to hell.  As proudful as we are, heaven awaits us with this all-loving God who, despite our wretchedness, wants us to reign with him.

As remarkable as it may seem, all we have to do is obey what God has written in His Word.  Doesn't take a guru, imam, priest or a pastor's interpretation of salvation.  In the Septuagint we read that the prophet Samuel said to king Saul, "If only the desired whole burnt offerings and desired sacrifices were equal to the Lord, as compared to the one who heeds the voice of the Lord!  Behold!  Hearing is better than a good sacrifice and obedience than the fat of rams.  That sin is one and the same as divination.  Idols bring grief and pain.  Because you rejected the word of the Lord, the Lord rejects you from remaining king over Israel."  Jesus said, "Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock."  Think maybe the whole Bible might lead us in the way to God Almighty?

What it takes is sincerity, questioning and searching for answers, redacting spiritual leaders out of our reasoning.  Absorbing the Holy Bible, the very flesh and blood of Jesus Christ for food and drink.  Communing with the saints with food and whiskey.  Spending time in good fellowship with the Lord on a daily basis. Instead, we have every denominational church in America, and all were found wanton of wisdom knowledge and truth.  Even the Orthodox are comparing early church fathers' writings as equal to canon law.  Pretty bazar when we compare the satanic rituals to the Jewish and Catholics customs, we find them all the same practices.

King Saul's problem is he feared the people and had a big ego trip, before that, he was a humble Benjamite, faithful to his father. As the story goes, he fell from God's grace as king but refused to relent the kingdom to David.  We can easily see the twist in his character from innocence to demon possession as he tried to hunt king David down like a dog, all because David was slaughtering more Philistines than Saul.  Why, King David killed two hundred men to pay a dowery of their foreskins to Saul for his daughter Michal.  Such valor is common among real saints...
